what slick and wheel size for ITR 5 lug brakes?
i need help in find a wheel/slick size combo for my setup.
95 civic with ITR 5 lug brakes. because of the brakes i cant go below 15in wheels. so i need help in finding a 15in wheel that is wide enough to mount slicks to and also finding a good size slick as well.. i dont know much about slick sizes so any help would be much appreciated

depends on how much power you will have and how fast you wanna go . you can mount like 8x22x15's on stock wheels or like x6.5inch wheels. i think the next step is 23.5x7.5x15's off hand. if you want bigger then x8 wide then get some real drag rims.
so if i get a set of oem honda wheels in 15 in. i shoudl be able to fit 8x22x15 onto them with no probems?
would i have to raise the front of my car substanially considernig these are 15's?

uhhhh no . dont you have 15's on your car now? the 8x22x15's are kinda like 205x50x15's to give you the comparison . they dont have alot of meat on them .
yeah, 22's are kinda small. Like ive told you, I have some 22's on stock itr rims with no problems. As far as a drag wheel and tire combo. You can get like a 24-24.5"x8x15 w/o having clearance issues.
not to thread jack but this kind of pertains to his topic. I have the 205/50/15 DR's and seem to run out of 4th gear before the traps on em. will 23x7.5x15's give me a little more gearing to keep it in 4th through the traps?
I've got 24.5x8.5x15in M&H on some 15x7 TeamDynamic Pro Race 1 wheels for the slicks on my 92 Hatch with ITR conversion. They crown a little bit being on that small of a rim, but they work perfectly.

ok so i will probabyl go with the MH slicks instead of MT.
the size i foudn out i can use from MH is 7.5x23x15 on a stock honda wheel. ill probabyl go with those.
would it be more practical to get rid of this ITR 5 lug and go back to gsr brakes so i could run a 13 in lenzo wheel with a beefier slick?

well I managed to cut a 1.85 tonight, which isn't great by any means, but its much better than street tires. I think with enough practice, you can be good with 15in rims. Although I have 24.5in slicks, so I can have atleast soem sidewall to them.

see perfect , you have a buyer
i had a simliar problem w/ my set-up . i did the 96 itr swap on my DC and i also got the 96 vtec prelude rotors/calipers to put on . now if i did that i would have to run atleast a 15in rim . i decided not to install the bigger set-up so i would be able to run a 13in rim . i think you would be happier w/ the outcome on a 13in rim rather then a 15in rim
