today i was checkin out my engine..(turbo install this weekend), i got an injen cold air intake...theres a damn hole the size of a tennis ball right next to the filter! i was like wtf....does anyone have any idea what could have caused this?!?

 

a fast moving tennis ball. It may have just been rubbing on something.

 

vibration=rubbing=hole in CAI? I dunno what else would cause a hole like that.

 

i had the same problem. a huge rat was hiding under my hood and was eating the CAI. gotta watchout for those darn things.


on my aem it was rubbing a it caused almost a hole, but i caught it first. anything close to it rubbing it??

What is up man. Chillin' reading this devastating news man. Mine was a gerbel, not a rat, so I really can't help you, but defintely some sexual engine rubbing going on. I think you should sue the guy that installed the turbo if you want enough money to get into the 11's. Are considering porting and polishing???
