I read all the posts here and usually, it ends up in shouting match about how NSX do or does not suck. Do you guys do this in all the other boards here? I don't usually check the others but I think not. If yall wanna talk about NSX VS everyone else, we should make a thread only for that.

I don't get why you guys are all hating on NSX though. Nowadays, NSX is relatively priced in the used car market, it's pretty darn fast, it handles darn well and it looks very good for 10 years old car. Oh well, I guess you just gotta go with what you love. I don't hate on other people owning other cars, but rather admire them. To me, it's cool to see all these different cars with mods or not. Good to see variety. I like cool cars but it's hard to own them all. Anyway, I say keep down the hate, spread the love

ak, you're absolutely correct (and this is a point I've made numerous times in the ITR forum, which has also been periodically invaded by non-owners who go there to flame the ITR owners). There are lots of nice cars on the market. BMW's, S2000's, whatever - lots of nice cars, each with its own set of positive attributes. I don't understand why someone would go into a forum for someone else's car model, just to diss the owners there (unless they're so insecure about their own model that they only get satisfaction from dissing someone else on the Internet - which I think is sick). Car boards, just like cars, are supposed to be for fun, and for sharing information. I would never go into a board for another model to say "nyeh nyeh nyeh, my car's faster than yours". What's the point? Why not let owners enjoy their cars instead of harassing them? Are these folks that unhappy hanging around their own boards that they have to hang out somewhere else? I simply don't understand it...

I've had enough. I've had enough of the non-owner flamers who invade forums just to flame their owners. I've had enough of people who don't know anything they're talking about. And I've had enough of the liars who can't back up their wild-*** claims with any data that can be verified anywhere.

Cars are for enjoyment. These forums SHOULD be for enjoyment. But there are just a few too many immature, insecure little nerds around here, and it's just not fun hanging out here any more. Too bad the moderators let a few crybabies spoil the atmosphere for everyone here (and worse yet, join them in their petty little games).

I'm going for a drive now. THAT will still be fun. Anyone who wants to find me, just send me a private e-mail; I'm still reachable. But don't look for me here, and don't expect me to read any more of those juvenile insults.

 

To be fair, he was only claiming there were 6 cars that were hands-down faster than a NEW NSX, which is as much as .5 seconds faster 0-60 than an older one (4.8 versus, like, 5.3).
