For the guys that ran 11's at some point a question for yall??
Alright this might sound like a dumb question but when you ran 11's what was your power to the wheels and weight of the car and also what kind of car? This run doesnt have to be on street tires or anything it can be with slicks. I know that some guys do it all motor with about 220whp on street cars my car should be putting that out and I just want to compare the times that I have ran and run in the future with others cars that already have run times in the 11's. Just a little comparison to see where Im at. TIA
no one wants to reply? My car isnt all motor I can see how from the first post people could think that. Any info people can give me will be appreciated. I know there are a few members on the board that have done this and I thought that a search would be to hard to do and or wouldnt turn up the results I was looking for.
Yeah I know it will not run the sames times. I dont care what combination it used to run the 11's I just didnt want people to think that I had a 220whp all motor car. So anyone got any timeslips and want to tell me their cars weight and power output?
check the sig. that was only my second run on the car. and second run ever on slicks. and second run ever on a boosted car. i was on 22x8x15 MT on rota slips. car is a mildly gutted vx (not sure on exact weight). first run i did 12.1 with a 1.9 60' second run was 11.8 with a 1.801 60'.
So you are making 300whp and ran an 11.8@116 in a car that probably weighs in at what 2100lbs? Not to bad. I need to get my car weighed to see what my weight is sitting at.
320whp
222lbs tq
SAE Corrected
2550lbs w/driver
11.80@117
mid 1.8 60ft
24.5x8x14 M&H on Lenso's
(Im at work, the timeslip is at home)
I have not dyno'ed my car since I put the bigger turbo and hondata.

So some of you ran in the 11's with lets just say 300whp and 200 ft bs of torque give or take a few numbers in there. You also cut 60' times in the 1.80's. Alright this is getting a little better.
It seems to me that on a forced induction car about 300whp is the key number to shoot for if you are wanting to run 11's. But I want to do some more comparing so everyone chime in.

about 345 (on a dynapack) to the wheels for me to break into 11's... about 2200 lbs...
never had a chance to run it again with the recent set up....

So for the turbo cars its about 300whp and for the all motor cars its about 220 or so. That is what Im seeing so far. Give me some more to compare.

because we can compensate weight by turning up the boost...hahaha.
It weighs more than n/a cars because of the turbo parts. But that does not equal 300-600lbs.
Around here, most of the N/A cars strip out their interiors in comparison to the turbo cars, which alot of them are full interior.
Don't hold me with this statement. I am talking about cars that I see at Raceway Park, NJ.

Yeah I know a turbo kit doesnt weigh 300-600 pounds normally so that is why I was wandering what the 300-600 pounds was coming from.
A buddy of mine went 11.90@119 with a 350whp turbo gsr... Car must have weighed atleast 2700lbs w/o driver, cus it's got full interior, ps, a/c etc.

I never thought about that, it makes sense though.
All-motor every once counts, Boosted just run a little more boost to compensate for the weight

Well my car weighs alot less than 2700lbs and that is even with me in it. Im not making 350whp though
. Not sure of what kind of power Im making but Im thinking its not enough for 11's
