Just make sure you get a resonator installed at the same time. I had my friend replace his 2.5 exhaust piping and cheapo universal muffler with a 2.25 piping and Apex-i N1 Muffler but he;s got no resonator and now it's starting to buzzzz, even with the silencer installed. But it does sound really sweet.

dude it honestly sounds frikin awesome, but if its gonna be street, you will need a resonator or you'll be getting pulled over every day... If you dont think you'll like loud then try an APEXi WS it has a humm but not a loud race sound...

yes real loud, yes sounds great, yes need resonator...

I love my n1, it gets kinda loud sometimes, but it sounds good. Haven't been pulled over for it. Other suggestions are the HKS Hiper, which sounds deep and loud or 5Zigen has a new exhaust out that lookks pretty bad ***.

I loved mine. Ran it for 3 years without the silencer and never had a problem.

Catless on a WRX, a little too loud for my tastes

i got the whole catback, its awesome on a lude. been pulled over once and they gave me a fix it ticket. if u read the apexi site it has this printout saying ur exhaust cant be over 90 deciples from 20 inches away. last time i checked thats pretty damn loud, i dont think we are close to that. but anyway N1 is a bad *** exhaust

N1 is nice sounding. although, i am not a fan of the 'look'.

i liked the thermal r&d classic catback when i had the prelude. better sounding (imo) and stock-ish look.
