Default Running test pipe with stock exhaust

I currently have a JDM 4-1 header into a 2.5" test pipe into my Apexi WS. I am selling my WS and upgrading to a 2.5" soon.

For now I will have to switch back to my stock catback with the 4-1 header and testpipe mated together.

My main concern is if this setup will be loud or tolerable? I drive 40 miles to work everyday and dont need extra attention from the pigs.

Anyone have experience with this? TIA

What do you need to mate a 2.5" test pipe down to the 2.25" stock exhaust?

I used the T1R resonated testpipe for about a year... excellent piece. DC JDM header, T1R and mugen twinloop. The mugen is stock exhaust length, with a 2" collector to match up to the stock cat, and the 2.5" testpipe fit perfectly, actually a hell of a lot better than the current carsound cat i have on there, which was about 1/2 inch too long and pushed my exhaust back so it rubs on the rear heatshield. If the testpipe isnt resonated, it might be a bit loud/raspy.
