on my 1994 accord lx the map sensor is mounted to the thoddle body and on the h22 its mounted in this little black box on the firewall with other emmision stuff. the emmision box didnt come with my engine so i need to get a map sensor? WHERE????

ok, i am confused, so now you do not have a map sensor? Hum...I suppose you could alway use the accord throttle body...Ah i got it. Get the throttle body off of a 97 and up prelude. They have the map sensor mounted on top of the trottle body as well. That should work. If you used the accord it would restrict some of the air flow but would probably work for right now. I would definatly suggest getting the 97-up throttle so that you have an h22 trottlebody and the sensor.

 

I ALSO HERD I COULD USE A 88 TO 91 CIVIC MAP CAUSE ITS MOUNTED ON THE FIREWALL AND ALL ALONE COMPARED TO ON THE THODDLE BODY

 

well i know that on the accords the map is vaccumed isnt it? I cant remember for sure. But i would go with the 97 up h22 sensor and trottle body. Just me!
