Default Steam Cleaning engine bay

How does one go about doing this? Do I need to cover up any electical harnesses etc?

Distributor especially!
Wrap plastic bags around any major electrical components and save yourself some grief.

Yes just cover up the distributor like he said and dont get too close to the engine when pressure washing it. If you get too close (as in hold the sprayer within inches of where you are spraying) you can damage certain things. That is just what i heard from some people. I cannot validate that for myself. Hope this helps.

cover the dist. w/ plastic and be carefull spraying on the plug caps ans connection of your intake pipe and tb. and also do not soak the alternator. enjoy!
