Just bought the civic type r cams and i have a question about the timing belt. Is it possible to get some heavy duty clamps and clamp the timing belt to to the cam gear so that the belt doesnt slide off. Trying to make it as easy as possible dont want to mess around the timing belt to much.

Any suggestion a greatly appreciated!!!!!!

 

Just do it right, and take the damn thing off. You're going to anyway, so you might as well stop trying to find ways to make it harder.

Replace it. Not that hard. I think you'd be asking for the impossible with your clamps.
