B16A? Anywho, getting your launch down will help out somewhat. Your 60' is almost ~1 second over what you should be expecting down there, even on street tires. Your 1/8th ET also seems extremely high, did you miss a gear or anything of the sort? You'll get it down I'm sure, it just takes time. Good Luck

You definitely need to lower your 60' times. 2.9 tells me that you're spinning like crazy. Launching a little softer will help.

Yea it too seems a little low. Typically completely stock B16's in EH's around here do easy high 14's (trapping in the 93-95mph range) on street tires. When Brian had his EH like 3 years ago with his B16A (CTR IN cam, ACT clutch, and MT 20x6x14 slicks) he did consistent 13.90's. My other friend Mike (jdmDXrex) had his completely stock B16A (stock airbox, header, with a 2.5" exhaust) a couple years ago and did 14.20's on street tires and on slicks did a 13.62. Granted Mike's Rex is lighter both his and Brian's EH were full interior. Like I said it'll take some time, you'll get it tho. Good Luck
i forgot , i had a lot of tools and my sub still in the car , which is about 70 lbs combined
...but i doubt that would help a whlole lot if i took em out, but i will be sure to next time
also i wasnt spinning the tires at all off the launch i think i was just starting a little to soft and riding the clutch a little too much

Yea, you can't really compare the times tho. The Mustang is going to have a lot more torque midrange and do better there. It's like trying to compare a FI motor to an NA motor.
im planning on ordering some azenis...but anyone know if 205-50-15's will fit my 15'' rota circuit 8's?
thanks a lot

Yea work on getting your 60' down. Personally I would just go with slicks, with a B16 (less torque) everything is going to come from the launch. The harder you can get out of the hole the better off you'll be, that's not going to happen on street tires/drag radials.
hell with slicks. you don't need them, esp[ecially at your power level. you need to lean a launch technique. i can advise you to not hold the rpms all the way up and drop the clutch(wich i assume is what you are doing hence the 2.9)
even if you roll out like a brisk street launch going wot once rolling you should cut .5 off your 60 ft.
2.9 is horrid. like disgusting. like how the hell did you do that bad. work on it and the time will come down.generally trap remains constant regardless of launch but i have to assume your trap is jacked from the 2.9.

with a decent launch what should my 60 be?

Going from a 2.9 60ft down to a 2.2 will drop your overall ET well over a second. Typically, .5 60ft will equal 1 second at the end of the track.
i think u might have staged wrong becasue u did not even get a reaction time.
but if the time is correct then u just need to lower your 60 foots.

No, it's actually white and looks pretty much stock even now.
This is Mike's car if you wanna double check...
