Default H-T I need your help for insurance purposes. FREE PRIZE !!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Her goes, As some of you know MY teg was stolen a month ago . My insurance company has finally settled the claim and reimbursing me the value of the vehicle. Now here's the problem. My car was a 1995 GSR MINT (I mean mint seriously) with only 52,000+/- original miles. It was basically bone stock except the 2000 gsr wheels. The insurance company is only willing to give me $5000 for the vehicle minute sales tax and deductable which leaves me around $4200 wtf..

What I plan on doing is appealing the final adjusted price, which my ins agent said is no proble,m. All I need to do Is find a local dealer with in 50 miles from (07410) and from there they will adjust the redemal of what the vehicle is worth. I been searching many online dealer ads and have found none on the internet. H-T i need your help, If you guys know any other car sites or local dealers in your area that have an advertisment selling my year integra (94-95) over $6k please email me the link to the ad or let me know if its in a local classified newspaper or magazine so i can send the info to my insurance company.

The winner will get a free brand new 2.5" testpipe from me free shipping or can p.u///

thanks here's picks of the prize

What insurance company do you have?

Did you have pictures of your car that you sent in? Receipts?

I'm going to be dealing with this in a week and am nervous about them low-balling me. I had a 97 GSR with 79k with 25 pictures of inside and out along with receipts for everything. Allstate is my ins company btw.

Do you know the Nada value/bluebook? Insurance companies always try to lowball you, i mean it's thier job, the cheaper they get out of it the better. If you can't find anything, just contest and decline thier offer, demand to speak with the claims mgr ect... and im sure they'll come back with a friendlier offer.

That's what I plan on doing. I'm going to keep declining until they give me a reasonable offer, which I feel is 8,500 or 9,000. I see them on autotrader with more mileage being sold for like 9,500 in my area.

I have a tone of pictures but I don;t think that will make a difference . As far as records I had a FOlder with every single document done to the car and I mean to the gas receipts.

I have liberty mutual . They're pretty good

I think I may have to give them a overall demographic of the gsr's sold in the northeast beacause not just GSR's but integras classified ad life are'nt that long since the demand is so damn high.

Ouch. i work at an insurance company and i see this happen. they do NOT go by blue book value. basically they give you what they feel like giving you, what they give you is what they think the cars "value" is, not the actual car value. you can always try appeal it. you also have to remember you cars almost 10 years old. trying doesnt hurt, try to do whatever you can...good luck

I think if you had any expensive items or parts on the vehicle they will reimburse it but it will be under home owner;s insurance.

If you don't have aftermarket insurance then you don't get jack for any mods. The only mods you have a possibility with are ones that make it cosmetically nicer or more valuable. As for home owners insurance you are covered for CD's, clothes, or any other personal items. My buddy got $3000 for his cd's alone.
