I'm not against kits but voted no for kits. I had a kitted car and it was one alot of money to get it and maintain it too. You get your kit for lets say 500 bucks, then you have to prep and paint your car 1200-2000 for a good paint job. I happen to have gotten a deal on paint but got into 4 accidents where i had to replace the bumpers. My end conclusion is fiberglass sucks and its to much work. Go for speed and if you need some body pieces than get stock looking lips made out of ABS plastic or urethan.

haha...Are those the same cars or did you happen to find two silver civics with different exterior mods?? Anyways without a doubt the one with the lips look alot better. Although if you have the patients and cash to make a kit look good....what about the C-Westin body kit or atlease the front bumper. Damn that looks sexy as hell if done right. But still watch out for bumps, dimps, potholes, curves, speed bumps, steep driveways, fallen rocks, hard debris on the road, shredded tires, ice chunks (for you winter seein mo fos), kids, dear, and any other animals cause your ***** gonna crack!!!!!!

No ****, and a full kit would be worse. Just leave it alone. If you're not going to listen to what any of us have to say, then stop asking for our opinions and do it.

Because they're ugly, a waste of money, all the ricers have them, and they don't make the car any better.

There are exceptions of course...for Civics I really like the CWest and Backyard Special bumpers.

body kits make the car look interstesting and busy.... most people on here prefer their car to be simple and clean.... its just the ht style ... there are plenty of clean kitted out cars... I say yay to kits everyone car on ht looks the same

Bad example bauley. I see what youre trying to convey though.

Xenon makes some nice body kits. Very plain ..

I know most everyone here has a strong distaste for body kits. I myself dont like many. But I owned a xenon body kit and it was very nice. Nothing too extravegent at all ..

I've ended up sayin this a lot lately, but H-T isn't a place! It doesn't matter if all the cars look similar, because it's just an internet forum. If somebody's priority is standing out or fitting in on H-T, that's pretty messed up, because there's a real world out there to consider.

I don't hate body kits in general but 99% of the ones out there are just a little too crazy. I know I've seen a couple kits for diff cars that I woudln't mind having
