1st Hand experince with bearing failure due to Pulley anyone?
I personally think it's a load of crap has I have run a dh-racing.com unit for years and 80,000 miles later the zc didn't have any abnormal year on the bearings. so if you have actually have first hand experince with this problem not your 3rd cousins best friends sister in law heard that some guy had problems type of stuff post.

There is plenty of evidence that solid pulleys are bad for your bearings. You seem to be doing a great job of ignoring it so far, so why stop now.
EDIT: It looks like the photo in that thread isn't hosted anymore. You might want to PM the originator and ask him about it.
