Does anyone know what color the '01 Type-R in black is called? Is it Nighthawk Black Pearl or Flamenco Black Pearl?

i know this cuz im painting my car this weekend and i needed to know which one it was for my 00 gsr

wait type r and gsr black are the same rite???

 

according to team-integra the 00/01 type-r and 01 gsr are NBP and the 00 gsr is FBP

Yep Chris is on the money...FBP in 00 had gold flakes, NBP in 01 had blue flakes.

 

very much true... accords were done this way as well

 

My GSR was Flamenco Black Pearl but I painted it Nighthawk Black Pearl. Is there a big difference between the two? Not really, but Nighthawk has more pearls and is a lot more shiny because of the blue flakes. Pic of my car. You can really see the shine.

Thanks for the replies guys. I just wanted to know so that I can order factory exterior parts like a lip and Type-R spoiler and not have to paint it.

Good luck. they dont come in all colors, and are limited supply. Buy what you can find, and have it painted.

 

Well I believe dealerships can still order Type-R parts....as far as the lip is concerned.
