I'm accually want to keep it a NA d17a. It so easy to go K20 than boost.

 

The other reason I don't have many performance mods is due to lack of for the d17a and $$$. Military pay is not that great while trying to suport a family. Anyhow. Thanks for the warm welcome from the rest of you.

Your car is slow and you took it from stock to super ugly...how are we supposed to respond when we are a forum full of people who drag or road-race our cars and appreciate the stock or cleanly modded chassis?

too easy? where have you seen that is too easy. its easier to boost a d17 in a 2002 civic than it is to fork out the doughto swap ina K20 swap. have you ever read up on the actual swap guide for a K20 into a 2002 civic? its far from easy and far from cheap as compared to getting a turbo kit fro your stock motor. **** its easier to swap a K20 motor into a 92-95 civic than it is into a 2002 civic lol

Let's see I only see a few things that maybe make his car ricey (in bold). And calm the F**k down people, you havent even see his car yet, I bet its pretty clean, and I bet about half the "rice" mods you wouldnt even notice in the pictures. So until then, lay off the "ricers".

Ya, at least he stuck with OEM wing and bumper stuff.

You'll find yourself quickly selling the altezza's if you stick around here though

As far as performance goes I'd slap a turbo on that motor, single cams aren't so great for NA. You'll find yourself spending a ton more money than just doing a swap and still getting the same power.

to post pics you need to find a website that will host pics. i use we-todd-did-racing.com, but lately they have had to cut down on the amount of photos you can upload.

Sure did, sweetheart. Did you? An AEM CAI and Tanabe exhaust just makes his car loud and obnoxious and makes him drive like his car can do better than a 16.9 in the quarter. I/E does not a fast car make.

Oh, you seem to have missed the strobe lights in the turn signals, hyper-white/blue bulbs, aluminum painted paditor cap, battery cover and brace, and fuse cover. If any of those does **** for performance or cleanliness, let me know. Until then, get off my nuts about flaming a ricer.
