how to adjust tokiko illuminas
bought a used set of tokiko illuminas. the shocks are still good but 2 of the shocks adjusment **** broke off and the other two you can barely see the numbers on it. which way would you adjust if you want to stiffen up the shocks?

All the way counter clockwise is 1, all the way clockwise is 5. Make sure it "clicks" into whatever setting you use. 5 is stiffest.

Umm...are all Illuminas like this ? Mine don't stop turning...I can keep turning them either direction. There is a kind of click when I pass each number though.

Use a small flathead..If the #'s are worn off, you are going to have to go by feel. I suggest you find a dealer and get some new tops with the numbers on them.
