tire softener?

saw this product that soften tires in grassroots mag, does this really work? i have a set of re010's that are kinda hard ( too much heat cycling ). will this product soften them up again?

It's not designed for street tires as Willard said though.

It's also pretty toxic, and i'm fairly certain most race series have banned it for that reason...

I've played with some of this **** before...and yes it is toxic... the problem we ran into was application. Short of taking a paint roller tray and rotating the wheels throught it there's not a lot of options... can't use anything plastic because it tends to melt rather quickly.... can't use it in a spray bottle either....same problem and it fouls up the sprayer. It doesn't like brushes either. IMO not worth the trouble.
