OK. i was coming home and this kid in a lude starts gunnin it by me. i dropped it to third and blew by him. he then did the same. we where neck and neck going into the turn and really not going fast maybe 75?? thank god for my R suspension causei had NO problem. but this guy totally lost control and swerved back and fourth and then , get this, did two 360's and totally fucked up his ride. now this is two lane highway he completely lost control , almost took me out and i had to "swerve" back and fourth (like a cop would do) so no one would plow into him. i pulled over and expected some typr of altercation but thankfully there was none and they where alright. FYI i did nothing wrong i dint cut him off what so ever and stayed in my lane. please do urself a favor and stop unnecessary racing and accidents. i know im done with it
Im glad you see just how senseless it is...just too bad someone had to lose thier pride and joy.
Be thankful, you see how easily that could have been so much worse.

Just an FYI: Road Racing != Street Racing. I actually thought there'd be some non riceboy street racing content in this thread.

aiight i know it sounds ike typical riceboy wannabe racer content, but it wasnt like that. u mean to tell me u never had a small "street race" on a highway or something, i never do that and i dont know why i did in the first place. but u cannt label me a typical "riceboy' cause im not even close to that. i just wanted to post another experience in the hopes of detering others from doing something stupid like this. that was my only point. i wasnt bragging or anything.

Go read my post this time. I was expecting some road racing content, not gay street racing content based on the title. Damn we todd's
Tonight I was going to Home Depot to get some tools so that I could install my JDM rear strut bar. My dad was in the car, 200 extra pounds
. Anyway, I am sitting at a red light in a double left hand turn lane, waiting for the light to turn green. The light turns green and I notice this 5th gen. flying up on me. We turn left onto the freeway, and snake through the "s" turn and are now heading directly onto the freeway. He had the inside lane, and I had the outside lane, but I was still able to keep up around the outside curve. I shift from 2nd to 3rd and take off on him. I hear him floor it, but he has no where to go. All he could do was slow down and get behind me. I merge to the "fast lane", get ahead of traffic, and then get to the middle lane doing about 70 mph. Then of course he floors it and flys by expecting me to follow. I just let him go. The whole time it was happening, my Dad was saying, "Be careful! I want to make it home alive!" But when everything was over, he had this expression on his face that was just priceless.

I remember when my dad used to take MY car out a long time ago and get unwanted stoplight races from domestic owners. He had three and he won all of them...in all occasions, I was never in the car. Nice way to deter me from street racing, eh?
And no, I don't street race. "Spirited driving?" Yes...a lot of it.

yep. I can tell you are a very responsible person. Doesn't this belong in the kills forum?
Man my dad gets mad when I take my car above 5000 RPM!
I got too many points on my license to be street racing

Loss of money is a bigger deterrent than death hah

In case u didnt read the whole post. i didnt just take off i STOPPED to make sure everyome was ok!! i could have easily left and no one would have know anything. secondly I STOPPED traffic behind me so this kid wouldnt get KILLED. So how u gonna say im not responsble?
Ill say it again I DIDNT MAKE THIS KID do anything.
OK ONE MORE TIME i posted this damn post so other people will cut this **** out!!!! stop flaming me for no reason
OK Id just like to add something:
The exact same thing happened to me and my buddy about a year ago on the way to an HA/HT meet. We were cruising along, he was in his 4dr GSR behind me, and a prelude came up and blew by us both...when he blew by me, I dropped and gunned it (straightaway early in the morning)...next thing I know my buddy screams by me...I start to catch up to both of them and notice a sharp turn ahead.
Im not into the whole streetracing deal at all, I just wanted some fun, so I backed off, thinking they would too. A turn coming up with many cars on the road usually warrants that.
Well they didnt back off. The lude flew around the turn, and as my buddy in the GSR just started to catch his tail, I saw his back end start to turn...
He whipped around once, then spun the other direction, pulled a 180 on the highway, just missed grazing a number of cars, then spun out the other direction and wrecked into a ditch. The prelude just took off.
Seriously, that was probably one of the scariest moments of my life. Seeing your best friend narrowly avoid death at 110mph around a turn, inches away from slamming into other cars, then into a ditch, and theres not a damn thing you can do about it.
Everything turned out OK, he was fine (although in shock - he didnt drive for a month after that), the car was fixed, and now he wouldnt even dream of racing on the streets, whereas before he was a cockass of a driver.
Just be careful. Im not gonna lie, everyone has a little fun on the streets, just try to use your head and think twice about every move you make. Theres a time and place for everything...dont risk it. Ill never forget my buddies face after that....ghost white. Ill never forget it.
