Help.. No spark/nostart 93' Accord
Car died the other day.. Timing marks line up, so not
the timing belt... Brand new Bosch cap and rotor
and new NKG wires and plugs..
I have a spark from the coil wire, but it is not sparking
at the spark plug gaps.. It may be a weak sparc, but
I am not sure..
Ohm readings from the coil indicate the following:
Priimary resistance between terminal A and C = 0.0 (according to haynes, should
be .6 to .8 ohms)
Secondary and terminal A = 17k (according to haynes thiis is OK)
Terminals B and D= 2.2k (according to haynes, should
be 19.0k to 25.0k ohms))
Went to Auto Zone and checked a new coil and got the same readings, so
decided haynes was wrong and the coil was good..
Voltages to the ignitor look good.
Any opinions and suggestions would be very much appreciated
before I start buying components (ignitor and coil for starters)
Thanks In advance!!!
