Default Integra Tranny Swap Auto > Manual

I hav a 98' Integra GS and I was wondering how reliable is doing a Auto > Manual swap. I was planning to buy a B16 Tranny and replace my automatic tranny and of course adding other stuff to it ex: shift linkage , clutch, flywheel, etc. Have neone been sucessful in doing the Auto > Manual swap without any problems? And how much did it cost for the whole swap (parts + labor) and does it affect any smog emmission?
