Clutch Problem **NEED HELP**
All of a sudden I noticed a lot of free play in my clutch. Even if I have the clutch pressed all the way to the, I can't get it out of gear. When i was driving today and I downshifted to third from forth, with the clutch all the way down, all I got was grind. Is there anyway to adjust the freeplay? I did some searches but I didn't find any direct answers. Throw out some advice. peace
Check your master or slave cylinder. My slave went last year, you will be able to tell if there is fluid leaking out of it.
In case you don't know, it's on the front of the tranny.

I jumped in my car this morning and tapped on the clutch and it just fell to the floor. I checked my clutch fluid level and it was below the min level. It looks like it is a leak. I'll get under the car today after work. damn

Do you read?
1. He checked fluid level and it was below minimum mark
2. He went to Acura and they told him faulty master/slave cylinder- whats the deal with the names anyways...master and slave
....kinda messed up.
Before you have them change, unless you already had them, check the soft line from the master cylinder to the resevoir. I've seen those leak...tighten up, bleed clutch with fresh fluid and you're good to go
