order them like you would be looking at the car from the front. Driver side would be on the right.

WTF are you talking about?

Drivers side=LEFT SIDE
Passenger side=RIGHT SIDE

This is definate. Remember, you're driving a LEFT HAND DRIVE (LHD) car.

He's exactly right. I've ordered a bunch of parts in the last two weeks, and this is the convention used.

That appears to me to be the left (driver's side) corner light. Along with the left bumper light. 4th gen hatch?

Diver side light no question! the reflector is always on the outside end of the light and the bracket to attach the thing is on the inside as shown.

Order both...

If you replace just one light, your car will look like it's one-eye-blind...

The old light is smogged, dirty and ugly and the new light is bright'n shiny... imagine your car like that... no... imagine a guy with sunglasses... on the right with the glass and the other without it... now, that's how your car will look...

Now seriously, if the money is no object, oreder both lights or just call them and say which light do you need if looking from DRIVERS SEAT...

best thing to do. For future reference, just look at the arrow that says "FR" and put yourself in that position facing the arrow. Then you'll know exactly what side. But, Driver's side is always left, passenger's side is always right.

Not if it's RHD. Then driver side is right and passenger side left.

i was taught that you read L and R as you look from the fron of the car at the motor. so no it doesnt contradict itself
