look on the cap
mine says dot-3 or dot-4
but that's for a 4th gen

you can always refill it with dot 4 if your car has dot3 min. requirement

higher boiling point if you need it on the track,etc

anyway, dont put dot 5, they will kill your abs pump

if i remember correctly honda stopped offering dot 4, because it was not too compatible with their ABS systems or something, but that was way back when in like 95-96
