looks good i heard that VIS weighs almost the same as a stock hood, does yours feel the same or noticeably lighter?

Mine is lighter, I'm very certain of that. (6th gen Civic).

I kinda hate my VIS cause you can see the braces in it from th top side. But other than that looks great and is alot lighter than stock. ANd i cant really caomplan since i got it for 200 bucks (could have got it cheaper but i was in a hurry and did not want to wait)

He got his from a shop or w.e., but go to the Sponsor Market Place and wahh laa.

really, where is everybody getting these hoods for 200 and 300 dollars? If I could find that kinda deal I'd buy one tonight

i just got the jdm thin side moldings
since i have a cx i didnt want to drill, so i just used 3m double sided tape, looks really good.

for a nice *** fitting hood. i've seen the reviews where those hoods have fitment problems with b-series swap.

IMO

cx was meant to have no side moldings.. look 10000x cleaner..

but the hood.. jsut not my style.. paint match it

That is the old VIS hood...I just installed the new one and it fits great and the underside is redesigned. I had to cut a little to make it fit with the B swap.

The VIS hood on my EG8 did fit perfect.
But after doing some tinkering under the hood and having the hood on the stalk for an hour and a half it's now bent.
I point a bit upwards above the driverside headlight. I allready adjusted the thing that holds the latch down a bit and put the rubber hoodrest on the passengerside up a bit, but it still flaps on one side at 70+mph.

Anyone recognise this?
