how good are carbon fiber hoods? do they break easy? durable? can i trust it to not pop open when im on the highway.. where can i get a red carbon fiber hood...i live in nj

 

carbon fiber hoods are pretty durable,..i had a friend jump on mine ( ) but it flexed right back to shape,..i suggest getting hood pins though,..i had a CF hood fly up on me while i was doing about 80 on the freeway,..it scared the ever living **** out of me and ruined my windshield,..ive used hood pins ever since

 

That depends on the maker, if you get a good one then they are durable.

 

ive had mine for a year and had no problems

 

carbon fiber hoods last a long time if it has vis. won't pop up if u have pin locks.
