I got a 93 Coupe Dx...And Buying a 94 vx hatch..But the hatch has no motor and tranny...I belive it had a b series in it but im not sure..How would i Find out if it had a B series in it..Im looking to swap the motor out of the dx into the vx...But wondering how much harder is it to swap a B18 into it then a regular D series..This would be my first swap doing on my own...PLEASE HELP ME!

 

both will the same not hard just take your time, other than add some wires for the b series, and d series less wires to add.

 

swapping either a b-series or d-series will be about the same difficulty except for maybe the wiring.

 

Theyre about the same level of difficulty, which isnt hard @ all. To the beginner it can be confusing and time consuming but you figure it out sooner or later.

 

the b series swap is similar except wiring. you shouldn't have a problem.

 

if it an ls motor it should just plug and play
a couple of wire need to be added for a vtec motor
