Lighten Flywheel (Need a lot of info)
whats up people. I need info on lighten flywheel. What it does, does it shoot up your rpm, stock vs After market, causing over reving and ect. Help me out. Pros and con. Thanks
All it does is replace your stock flywheel with a lighter one. You'll lose little less power since it will take less power to move the now lighter flywheel. The car will thus rev a little easier. It's nothing to complicated.
with a lighter flywheel you will accelerate faster while moving....
but say you want to drop the clutch from a stop... the lighter flywheel will require more rpms to take off...
with a heavier flywheel since it has more mass will transfer more energy to the wheels.
think of it like a paper airplane and a led weight...
both objects are traveling the same speed at your hand... the paper airplan skims off your hand and hits the floor no big deal not much force was transfered to your hand... while as with a lead weight will make your hand move and you will deffinetly be abel to tell that there was more force....
dont know if that made sense lol... its late but i tried
hope i helped

Just try not to hit the rev limiter all the time. It takes some getting used to.
