Default ITR Pistons and Rods

If i were to get ITR pistons, would i have to get itr rods also? or would my gsr's be ok?would itr rods even fit on a gsr crank?

No you don't need the rods.
The ITR rods will fit also.
they are lighter and stronger, but wont make you go any faster.

wrong. u need to shave 1 mm off each side of the rod...

please tell me this is a gsr engine NOT an ls!\

I have personally watched ITR pistons being put on GSR rods without shaving them 1mm. It was fine.

If you have them a part might as well get some arp rodbolts small price to pay for some peice of mind

Ive personally put JDM ITR pistons on GSR rods. Also, I dont get the big deal with ARP rod bolts? I really dont think thats the stress point of my rods, nor do I believe that they're just going to snap in half...my rod will break long before the stock rod bolts do. Is there something Im missing like they come untorqued or something?

some people have experienced their stock rod bolts stretching and letting go. Arp rod bolts arent nesecessary. but while everything is apart and in front of you. the extra money spent for the security is a good peice of mind. many ppl have gotten away with using stock rod bolts. i would rather do it right all in the first round
