rattling at the cat
ok i stopped at a friends house and left the car running...when i came back i heard a rattling sound from my car. so i checked my muffler and it wasnt that. when i looked under the car i noticed the little heatshield or piece of metal around the cat was rattling and hitting the cat. What causes this and how do i fix it so it wont rattle?
You'll probably have to jack up the car to get under there.
The cat-cover is touching your cat somewhere. If you don't want to keep it, just take it off. If you want to keep it, find where it is touching, take a prybar or similar tool and bend the cover away from the cat.
Pretty easy, non-confusing fix.
