no but seriously, those wings do provide downforce at 30+mph. i saw the j's racing crx and several other ef/eg/ek hatches with "wings" that actually provide needed downforce. i know they are ugly, but would they be effective? why would these high end jdm companies be using the wings on the car if it didnt? hmm?

Why would these japenese direct market companys? does that sound right? people need to relize just cause you saw it in japan it doesnt need to be called JDM.
Its only JDM when it gets to the US.

needed downforce? all one of those grocery cart wings will do is slow you down. you would be much better off with a front lip an inch from the ground to prevent front end lift. i have taken some super high speed photos of cars at the top end of a local rcetrack in iowa and you should see how high some of the ricers are on the front end at 100+ mph. up to about 60 mph acceleration is all power to weight, after that its all power to drag.
