i won some free dyno time from a local shop. i'm just going to get it tuned tomorrow... all i have is an AEM CAI and custom bent exhaust... i was wondering what numbers i should look for... obviously low HP but i just wanted to see where the 180k mile beast was at lol. its a dynopack dyno and i have an AEM adjustable pulley on it. holla back i guess.

my college club "Madison Motorsports" is having a car show where my car will be the "raffel" by guessing the peak hp. http://www.mmsports.org for more info on the show by the way... i'm not even going to be around for the dyno pulls... and the info will be in an envelope. i'll look at it saturday with everyone else and then i'll post it monday or something like that.

dyno is done, results are interesting... it was bolted up to the dyno with 180,007.2 miles. i cant post the results till after our car show raffle on the subject. oh and my custom bend is at a 2.5 inch, factor tracking, from the cat back.... maybe it hurt me maybe not... who knows till i get the car back down to the two incher.

three of us stock d16a6 managed around 110 whp on the dyno. we all had various mods from nearly stock to basic bolt ons on engines from about 60k to 180k miles (that one was previously turboed and spitting out oil). theres no reason not to believe the numbers. all the other cars that were tested matched fairly reasonably, even a stock S2000. d16a6 is just underrated from the factory.
my buddies D15B2 made 103.3 whp on a dynojet with a cheapo intake and a Si exhaust
my D16A6 made 93 whp with cheapo intake and 1.25 inch exhaust and full cat then made 110 whp with a Thermal exhaust and race cat and K&N filter

they arent super impressive numbers... but it was on a dyno pack 3000 so light weight fly wheels and wheels wont/dont effect the numbers.

all i'll say is the car pulled a peak number .2 hp below what Thomas at B&T said it would... i guess he has run enough cars through his dyno to know what his dyno was going to tell him lol

94.8 whp... i know it says flywheel but they told me it says that after the computer does all the math. 9.5hp pick up... 0 degrees to 8 degrees (the number 4 mark on the AEM cam gear) the torque curve looks weird as hell though.

well the cam gear says, each mark = degrees... i'm at number for... we did move at one mark at a time (meaning 2 degrees at a time). there is a pull similar to the 8 degree pull, but that was at 10... power dropped off so i went back to 8
