im not running ac or ps. what belt size do i get?

 

is it true that any 1994 to 1997 accord dx without a/c with fit?

no it wont. the prelude belt has one more rib. measure it. i beleive it is 35 or 36 inches though.

 

i had the same problem the belt you need you can get at any parts store the part number is K060345 and its a Gates Micro V belt....fits perfect..i tried many before i found this one that fit just right

i used a 36 on mine w/o power steering and ac in my civic

and use a 42 for when i need to use AC and no powersteering

 

i actually went with the accord dx belt minus the ac and power steering

 

yeah when I 1st got my swap the AC belt squealed like a ****. Then I got that one you guys are talking about and the noise was gone.......after that my mounts kinda went bad and now my motor moves around. I think it stretched out the belt because it's making that noise again

 

i am also curious in doing this. is it hard to take off the old belt, and put the new one on?

 

not at all also your belt wont stretch if the motor mounts are bad anything that is connected to the motor moves with motor

I have a Prelude S F22 belt on my H23 right now. I am putting on the correct one when I swap in the H22. I want AC. The previous owner put the Prelude S belt on. I am not sure why though. Hopefully, the compressor works fine.

 

I ran track times on two of my preludes without PS , there was no visable change in slips. I decided to keep the PS. I know it makes a difference, but I thought it wasn't worth it. Just my 2 Cents.
