trailing arm bushings
how hard are they to replace, and boy how worn trailing arm bushings can make a new suspension set up feel like ****...any recomendations for those bushingd,im thinking energy suspension bushings, probably cheaper than oem anyway...
The bushings will look torn up but really they are not worth replacing according to the guy up at Honda Village performance shop (A Honda and Acura tuning shop up at the Honda dealer). I've heard that the only way to get those out is to burn them or cut them out and from what I hear its a pain in the *** and isn't worth doing unless the ones you have are basically in pieces. The bushings on my 92' Ls have 190,XXX miles on them and have little cracks all over them. The guy up at village performance also said that if you have the whole bushing kit its more beneficial to replace them when you replace the other bushings as well. Putting the new ones in wouldn't be to hard if you thought of a good way to do it. An old garage trick would be to use big washers and a bolt to suck the bushing into place definitely using alot of grease and freezing the new bushings in the freezer over night to make them shrink a little. But getting the old ones out are a bitch because I'm pretty sure there is a metal insert that you have to dig out too.
sure will, but will do them all at once also, and most likely have a shop do them,i was just curious as to how hard the job was and more benefits to changing those bushings in particular...thanks..
supposingly whne you change the bushings on a higher milage Integra to polyurethane, It will dust Audi A4s through corners! I can't wait to get my ES kit.

hmmm... from what ive read, poly doesn't perform well in the TA
because the movement is not linear.

If I get the ES Hyperflex kit for my car (93 civic). Which other bushings do I need to get to cover all my bushings? I know for one ES doesnt make bushings for the rear compensator arm but Prothane does. Any other bushings? Thanks.
