brake rotors
im having problems finding rear slotted brake rotors for my 1993 hond prelude
i found the front slotted rotors from brembro on the internet is there a site where they have rear slotted rotors ?
brembro or baer slotted rotors prefered

seriously, just run blanks, i picked up some nice brembo blanks that were very cheap through a group buy. I also taked to the the guy from cobalt friction that does much of the work on the scca RSX, guess what, they run blanks on a race car!!

Head to autozone and spend $40 bucks for a front pair that includes a warranty for a year. Just make sure you break the rotors in right.

Head to autozone and spend $40 bucks for a front pair that includes a warranty for a year. Just make sure you break the rotors in right.

on top of that rotors are pretty much a wear item, with no worthy benefits for the expensive kind, unless we're talking about lightweight 2 pieces, or :0 titanium designs.
NAPA OE replacements are teh rule.

i bought the bremdos cause they were cheap, and yes, rotors are rotors, but if they are machined poorly they can warp easily, and very cheap rotors are often a little thinner then factory.
As for pads ..... those make a HUGE difference, i bought some axis ultimates, they are ceramic and generate very little dust with very little break fade. And as with any brake job, flush the fluid, that stuff gets water in it and kills your stopping power
