Default 98 JDM spec ITR 22mm rear sway bar on 95 USDM spec gsr?

hi there... just wanna say wassup first... long time reader first time writer here at hondatech... i got a buddy that recently bought a JDM rear sway bar from icbmotorsports and we tried to replace his stock sway on his gsr... we tried doing the installation and the problem we ran into was that the stock gsr brackets that hold the bushings near the center of the sway do not fit due to them being a lot smaller in size (icbmotorsports didnt ship brackets with the sway)... we went to acura and purchased the us spec ITR brackets and they fit the bushings... the only problem is that the brackets didnt fit on the subframe... so the question is... how or what do we need to use, get or install on the subframe in order for the JDM ITR sway bar to fit onto his car? thanx in advance for the help guys... really appreciate it...

http://www.geocities.com/bretq has instructions on installing the 22mm bar and also explains what you need to do the swap

sidenote: I thought JDM ITR rear sway bars were 23mm as opposed to the USDM 22mm?
