90 JDM EF8 SiR seats will it fit on a USDM 90 CRX?
I've heard that the JDM seat rails in the 90-91 EF8 shared the same rails as the USDM 88-89. I'm wondering if anyone has confrimed information if the 90 EF8 SiR seats will fit into my 90 ED8?
I'm seeking information to get the fact straight and put the rumors to rest!

i'm not positive but i'm saying no because of a few thing and what i have installed before....
the 88- early 89 (US) crx seat bracket are located closer together and have a different style bracket then the ..late 89- 91 crx seat bracket..this is one reason...the other is that i have installed a jdm crx seat (the one with the crx writing straight down the center) into a 91 crx si (US) and they don't line up..i have to make new hole and modified the location....
so to me from wha i have done before i don't think that they are compatiable as a bolt -up and sit your *** down type of deal..

yessir..it helps to try and get a passenger side seat EF8 SiR(thats what i did...bought from super cool dude o.j./civiclx on here
)the drivers side rails on my 89 CRX HF bolted up perfect..if it had not..drilling out holes would've been easy to do as it were...also..if you are using this seat in later models(90-91)swapping out the seat pan seems to be the easiest way if they dont line up..and..it is super easy(just look out for those clips..kinda sharp)

I guess that's it?
I have the 90 Si seats so swapping out the seat pans sounds like a plan. You make it sound like it's really easy. Is it that easy to swap pans?
