I have some skunk2 cams,valvesprings and retainers what is usually the price to install these?

head gasket?

 

If your not doing valves, you don't need to pull the head. You just put compressed air into the cyliders (through the spark plug holes) and it holds the valves up and prevents them from droping into the cylinder. If your doing valves, you'll have to pull the head. Whenever you pull the head, you need to replace the head gasket and it is higly recomended, you replace the headstuds. If you buy ARP head studs, they are designed to be reused mulitple times so if you ever pull your head agian, your set on headstuds.

 

yeah I know I have a mugen headgasket with arp head studs. I didn't want to have to buy a new head gasket. That is why I was wondering if the head needed to be removed.
