why are and 88 rex and a 90 rec have diff size drive shafts
my 90 crx had smaller drive shafts then my 88 crx whats wit that. would the take more hourse power then the 90. but will the still fit the trans out of other d serise engines(i own all 1.5 dual point).

Most likely Honda just realized that the larger driveshafts were overkill and just adding weight (and cost). I would recomend if you're changing from a larger drive shaft to a smaller one (or vice versa) to do both shafts and not just one.

that's at the hub end of the drive shaft... the tranny end is the same.

Yes, they will fit any 88-91 transmission, but no they may not fit at the other end (the wheel hub)
