GM syncromesh where to fill?

Default GM syncromesh where to fill?

can I fill it in where my speed sensor is? or i have to do it like this? do I drain all the fluid out?

In every car I've ever done, you drain it all and only use the holes they recommend. The reason is so you can fill it just enough where it drips out of the fill hole. One tip: make sure you loosen the fill plug before loosening the drain plug. You don't want to drain it, just to find out that the fill plug is seized.

You can remove the speed sensor and fill through there. Much easier
