Ok, here it goes.

Back in Dec of '03 I bought a eg theft recovery. The car was stripped of hood, wing, wheels, head, ecu, and other smalled shtuff.

I got it all back together. Finally got the car running (thanks Katman & Pitcrew) and went to the DMV on Friday. They said they had to do a visual inspection. Once the "inspector" came out, he saw the gutted interior. I told him it was a theft recovery, so he went inside and got a CHP officer to come out an look at it.

One look into the engine bay and he knew it was hybrid off the line. He told me that it will be referred to the CHP for inspection. I understand they check out **** that was stolen off the car and VIN's, but i dont have receipts for anything except the work done by Pitcrew. I bought all the parts off people here on Honda-Tech, so what the hell am I going to tell them if they ask for receipts???

Also, are they gonna send my *** to the state ref to get a BAR sticky?

Car is currently registered in GA.

 

I think you can use bills of sales for them

i dont even have that....i cant even look up old topics that far back to try to contact people....

 

welp another one bites the dust REF time B get that sohc vtec or just back to stock

 

haha....id rather see what happens than even attempt to un-hybridize
