First you have to examine a couple of things..

1. What is the car doing that you would not like it to do?

2. What would you like it to do?

3. What type of modification do you have done to the car already?

4. What type of ride compliancy level are you looking at obtaining from your daily driver?

street racing

It all depends on what kit you purchase, Some kits require some drilling to be done on the rear subframe. I beleive ssr offers a complete bolt on system for the rear. You can also use the nifty search feature located in the upper right hand corner of your screen. You can get a lot of answers answered by searching.

i have the suspensions techniques 23 mm swaybar tiebar combo. You can tell the difference between the stock and this, its like night and day. you need to buy a bsq or beaks kit if you get an itr swaybar to prevent tearout. the stock for a gsr is 21 front and 14 back i believe, the front may be off a mm or two.

first of all, the stock front sway is 24mm=same as type r. The rear is 14 or 13mm i cant remember. If i was you, i would read up and see what you want. There is really no need to get a diff front bar, unless you plan on really racing your car and not beating some light to get into pep boys faster. Mugen makes a larger front bar, 26mm and 24 in the rear i believe. The best bang for your buck is the type r rear sway with a reinforcement kit like beaks or bsq.

I agree... I wonder what kind of car he drives for having a 24 mm sway...

maybe he's talking about the front?

You are correct. It's not the Beaks kit.

You can order from the dealer. These are part numbers.

1.) 52300-ST7-Z01 rear swaybar
2.) 52315-ST7-Z01 swaybar bushing (2 needed)
3.) 52308-SS0-000 bushing bracket (2 needed)
4.) 52316-ST7-Z00 endlink bushing (2 needed)
5.) 52312-ST7-Z00 endlink bushing collar (4 needed) – this part can be reused from the stock swaybar
6.) 90175-ST7-Z00 bolt (8x35) (2 needed)
7.) 94050-08080 flange nut (8mm) (2 needed)

i dont see the point of a rear sway bar if you arnt gonna AutoX or roadrace. I also dont see why you need one just go in straight lines (you know that ghey *** street racing you do). Take off your body kit, it is probably causing you to get more body roll .

Street racing is dumb....I mean why do it?

Stop being jealous .

A rear sway isn't only for AutoX/road race, it is one of the best non-DC2R modifications and has an excellent $$/function ratio. So what if some people dont road race (I'm not talking about street racing)...it still improves the handling of your car a WHOLE lot (and IMO: tie bars are nothing but clearance problems).
