The radiator is supposed to have some room to move around right? Like back and forth a bit, right? Just wanted to make sure my radiator wasn't loose.

 

All 3 of mine have (IMHO) a lot of sloppy movement in their radiator brackets. I wasn't really impressed with that, but I guess it makes it so the radiator isn't stressed by it's own mounts. I suppose we don't need to make it any easier for our radiators to break.

If it was hard mounted the flexing of the chassis in hard turns and what not would cause the tanks to crack easier.

 

if you look down from the top of the motor you can see the brackets which hold it.. its only supposed to move in the alotted space within the brackets. little play is normal.
