newbie here about coilover conversion kit.....

Default newbie here about coilover conversion kit.....

i was planning buying skunk 2 coilover kits for $325
until i stumpled on these forumn....after spent some time reading
i found out that ground control is better than skunk 2 coilover...
is this really true? and can i have some more user experimences opinions...
and where can i get the cheapest place on the web to buy either one?

theyre both good products.....

gc's are made w/ eibach springs, so you know theres plenty of quality there.....

make sure you get new struts

it's called searching. you can search H-T or the internet with this thing called a "search engine". one example is "google" and you can get there by going to:
http://www.google.com

this topic has been posted hundreds of times on H-T. you have seen those threads yourself, so why are you asking again?

The thing is he did do a little research and that is kewl..

I would double check to on a purchase that big...

but fw190bvi is correct...

By word of mouth I've heard that the Skunk2's are really high spring rate. Too bouncy and stiff compared to the GC's.

ok i decided to go with ground control coilover with koni shocks...
where is the reliable source on net to get them?
what is the best spring rates for honda accord 1997 on a 18" wheel?
i did search but too many posts confusing me...and please no flaming....each other...

from other users that i've heard from accordinglydone.com who use the ground control coilovers as autocross suspension, they ordered directly from ground control's website (or there's a phone number or something) and got the custom spring rates...most people i've heard with the setup are using about 400 front 450 rear for their spring rates...that will be plenty stiff for you and should definitely give your stock shocks a good blow...
