is there a trans from another model that will give me 4.40 final drive or lower(higher numerical). I know the crx si is 4.40, but wondering if I can do better with another model. Does anyone have a crx si with 4.40 for sale? thanks

 

Actually the D series Si trans has a 4.25 final drive. There is no factory piece lower. However, you can get a ZC trans which has really tight gearing, but has a 3.88 FD, and swap in an Si final drive and have a great D series trans.

 

If your lucky you can get a Rover tranny with 4.43 FD. Also some of the 4 door Teg XSI's from Japan also have a 4.43 FD.
