Default The Happy Ending to the blown tire story...

For those that don't know what the hell I'm talking about:
https://honda-tech.com/zerothread?id=828237

Well, so here is the "happy" ending of the story...

Who thinks the Si (SiR up here) has a chance here? He had blinging strut and tie bars too... And they started him about 9-10 seconds ahead on that lap... I'm about to be yellow flagged in this picture...

Here is my l33t RWD rim setup... It worked pretty damn well I'd say.

And the aftermath... RE010's after about 115 kms on the track.

Looks like me JDM 16's need some new rubber too...

So there you have it, I licked my wounds and had a great season opener the next (next) day... Although now I might new 2 new RE010's in addition to the 2 Paradas... and I used close to half a tank of gas for 115km.... talk about fuel economy, eh?

So I missed the first track day but still got the second... Plus it felt real good to eat up some WRX/fake STi's, among others AND track against the real STi.... yumm... scoobie meat... And there was a 455 Firebird there too... hehehe... and this track has pretty much no straight aways either...

Fanboy, feeling good.

That's what I am trying to figure out! I haven't saved the pic and blown it up, but I think even doing that will distort it enough to not be able to see. It looks like the Si/SiR wheels to me.

Haha glad that unfortunate incident didn't make you miss your first track experience.

Look at the unpainted mouldings and sideskirts on the black civic...it is a single cammer jammer indeed.

I thought 16" RE010's were designed specifically for the NSX? the 215/45/16 right?

<-- confused

Wow... I remember seeing alot of people taking pictures... maybe you could hook me up with some ... I wish I had more pics (especially of my car)... but I was too busy driving it...

Shannonville! I didn't know about that one... hehe... exams... atleast you'll be done soon...

As for the day, there is something to be said to be able to have an experienced instructor sit in on a few laps (and then have the lead instructor ask if he can take a couple laps with your car to show you how it's done... ) Makes quite a difference to say the least...
