Hey all. Just curious if anyone out there finds they use a little oil on their d-series engines. Mines a '99 Civic d16y7 with approx 133,000 kms on it. It doesn't use enough that I'm worried or anything, just surprised it uses any at all.

I go through about 1/2 qt. or so on my D16Y8 btw oil changes (3K). I do alot of highway driving, and get into VTEC alot, so that burns a little more than normal. All the people I've talked to usually go about 1/2 qt. down between changes.

 

I burn about a 1/2 quart every two weeks in my D15B2 with 210,000 miles. My D16Y8 burns no oil at all.
