There seems to be a whining sound when I first start the car. This begin after the oil change. It's like a whistling sound until the car is warm up. Is this normail? This hasn't happen to my teg before.

On my gf's RS automatic, the "D4" light won't light up on the dash cluster. It'll light up other gears. Is there a fix to this? or is there more than just a dash cluster problem?

I don't know about your automatic question, but regarding your first question on the strange whining noise: check your alternator. I doubt is has anything to do with your oil change.

 

for the d4 light, check the bulbs in the cluster, maybe?

thats my guess. tighten pulleys, or buy a new belt if you need to

The Belt and pulley was replace about 15k miles. I'll check to see if it's the belt. How do I know if they're tight enough?

 

the d4 light is just a bulb, no biggie.
