Can I ask you Integra guys a question?
I've tried to get specs on a 93 YS1 transmission but can't seem to find any. All the specs are for GS-R YS1 transmissions. Is it possible that they have the same internals for that year? If not, do any of you guys race all-motor setups with the YS1 non-GSR transmission. Is it a good transmission to use with an all-motor setup? Thanks a lot guys.
the ratio for the long geared ys1 is similar to the hydro LS(S80) tranny. i believe the specs are as follows (from hondalogger)
Long YS1:
1-3.23
2-1.9
3-1.269
4-.966
5-.742
F-4.266
S80:
1-3.23(same)
2-1.9(same)
3-1.269(same)
4-.966(same)
5-.714
F- 4.266 (same)
i do not reccomend the long ratio ys1, same principles as other long ratio gearings

So is it the higher the ratio per gear, the longer the gear is? Or is it the higher the ratio per gear the shorter the gear is? I don't understand that part.
