so i wander into the local advanced auto parts store to look for some water pump lube, oil, and oil filter for the miata this afternoon. as i'm standing in front of the shelf looking for water pump lube, i spot a familiar looking pink bottle. what the hell is this, water wetter in this place? sure enough. wow, this is great, now i don't have to order the stuff from pegasus and pay shipping on it or pay $9 at the track for it.

not only do they carry water wetter, but i found a fairly substantial selection of redline synthetic oils from 5w-30 to 15w-50 i believe. also stumbled across a fuel system cleaner that i haven't heard of.

so, just an fyi to everybody, you can now get some of redline's products at the local parts store. and when you're there, thank them for carrying the stuff, and request that they carry more as i did.

Pep Boys (in GA at least) has carried Redline Water Wetter and Fuel Inj cleaner for ~10 years or so. Good to see the oil in a store front, though.

interesting, i've never seen any redline, amsoil, or royal purple product in any parts store that i've been in (minnesota and kansas).

 

Redline and royal purple can be had at like 4 or 5 stores in my town. Never knew I was that lucky.
