Default Oil on plugs?

I have a 90 Integra with 200,000 miles on it. It has been going through oil about 1/4 or less of a quart a month. Now im really starting to get bad gas mileage and starting to notice white smoke and black soot comming out of the exhaust. Once it warms up the smoke goes away, but the soot stays. I went to change the plugs and wires and notice that there is quite a bit of oil on the threads of the plugs, but not on the electrode. The computer shows no codes. Just wondering where to start, what is wrong.

your piston rings are worn down, sorry but i think you're going to have to put a new engine.

Check your oil for coolant. If there is then your head gasket is going/gone. If not then probably your rings.

the oil in the spark plugs is either bad rings or bad spark plug tube seals (rubber things on the bottom of the valve cover) clean all the oil out of the plugs by dipping in the wire, pulling it out and cleaning it off over and over and over, once they're clean remove the head or inspect the pistons through the spark plug hole after taking them out, if there's oil in the cylinders, bad rings, if not, could be just the seals. Take it to a shop for a compression test, bad rings will produce even worse compression numbers.

NOT AT ALL!! You can DIY with a bit of knowldge and a manual or take it to a shop for a fix, $300 DIY, about $500-600 for a shop to replace pistons and rings

Please search first. I've seen so many threads about oil on plugs in
the last week it's not even funny.

Sounds as though your rings may be going.
